I rescued this little fieldmouse from one of my cats. As it was the middle of the night and I couldn't tell if the poor little mite was injured I decided to keep it for a while. Normally they sleep during the day and I can clean the cage, refill water and food without any problems. Not this little fellow! He was extremely perturbed at being kept prisoner all night and let me know so in no uncertain terms.

Happy to be out in the blinding heat, standing still for hours on end watching for predators (not quite finished).

Horses are intelligent and know their own mind.

With their lofty disposition giraffes are sometimes thought to look down on people.
